[This recording combines the Incipient Locomotory Hesitance Vocalizations (ILHVs) and Compound Vocalizations (CdVs) of Smith (1966. Communication and relationships in the genus Tyrannus. Publ. Nuttall Ornith. Cl. 6), which represent the "Kip" Calls and probably both the "Chi-queer" and "Tzeeeeerrhhh" Calls, respectively of BNA. In addition to those that precede each CdV, there are lone IHLVs at 0:11-0:15 (four), 0:18 (two), and 0:35. Quality changed from 3-2 to 2-3 (good signal but much cicada humm) - CAM - 22 December 2004]
