    Equipment Note

SMALL PATCH OF STREAM-SIDE WOODS SURROUNDED BY GRASSLAND. 8-9 METERS AWAY FROM THE NEST. THE BIRD MADE RAPID MOTION ALONG BRANCH TIP, OCCASIONALLY DIVING RAPIDLY TO TOPS OF LOWER BUSHES. I AM CONSIDERING THIS IN THE CONTEXT OF ALARM BECAUSE A CYANERPES CYANEUS AND A VIREO OLIVACEUS EXHIBITED 'MOBBING' REACTIONS TO THIS CALL, GIVING CALL NOTES THAT I HAVE HEARD THEM GIVE AROUND BOA CONSTRICTORS, ETC.
