NOTES: Beh. context: UNKNOWN;REMNANT OF FLOOD-PLAIN FOREST BESIDE RIVER. THIS PAIR WAS BUILDING A NEST IN AN ABANDONED WOODPECKER HOLE. THE TWO USUALLY TOGETHER, CARRYING NESTING MATERIAL AND VOCALIZING. THEY PERCHED BRIEFLY ON ONE OF THE STUBS NEAR THE NEST HOLE, STILL VOCALIZING. ONE OF THE PAIR THEN CARRIED THE NESTING MATERIAL INSIDE, OR OCCASIONALLY CLUNG TO THE OPENING BEFORE ENTERING, STILL VOCALIZING. AFTERWARDS THEY FLEW ABOUT THE TREE, SOMETIMES EXCHANGING PLACES ON THE STUBS, ALWAYS CALLING EXCITEDLY. FINALLY THEY FLEW AWAY, USUALLY FOR LONG PERIODS BEFORE RETURNING.
