NOTES: Weather: WIND; PARTLY CLEARED SECOND GROWTH AT EDGE OF DEVELOPED PARK AREA . ADULTS - 'PEEER'. NESTLINGS - 'PEEEE'. THESE BIRDS HAD A NEST WITH TWO NESTLINGS IN A DEEP CAVITY IN AN INCLINED TREE TRUNK. THEY WERE MUCH DISTURBED BY MY APPROACH AND UTTERED THE 2 NESTLING(S); 2 ADULT(S); MALE(S); FEMALE(S); Sex: 2 UNKNOWN CRIES THAT ARE RECORDED. THE NESTLINGS HAD BEEN QUIET AT FIRST BUT APPARENTLY BECAME IMPATIENT BY THE TIME THE RECORDING WAS MADE. THEIR CRIES SEEM FAINT BECAUSE THE OPENING OF THE CAVITY WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE TRUNK. FINALLY ONE ADULT RESUMED. BNA: begging nestlings. Element 2: plaintive whistle. mf
