NOTES: (Sound or Soc. Contact: Infrequent? Breed. Status: Territorial. Song: 2. Climate: Humid; Cyclic Wet-Dry. Cov. Density: Med. Cut length: 1:45 (copied).) Recorded from west side of lodge grounds. Note long gap before cut on field tape. No Dendrocolaptes was prsent (contra announcement); this is when I was mistaking Campylorhamphus trochilirostris for D. certhia. Includes three close X. guttatus long calls, one more distant, and two very distant. There are also two relatively distant songs. Gaps between calls not copied.
