NOTES: (Breeding Status: territorial paired; Cut Length: 8.1 part A, 8.17 part B) Part A&B. HPF 220 Hz. This pair was building a nest both male and female call; the female calls can be distinguished. The female does all the construction it seems, with the male "singing" fast "plicks" nearby. I do annotate when I succeed in isolating the female [she has most of the male repertory - not heard here - even a slight song soft]. 10:50 both are present and call. Rain but the calling continues [12:30-14:30 raining]! *See my paper in Studies of Mascarene Island Birds [sonograms].
