NOTES: (Time: 10:55/11:00; Number of Animals and Sex: adult males unknown sex) HPF 220. A long sequence of "response to playback". "Chuckle song" - the initial very brief sequence was played to evoke this long resonse. the individual departed with no "flight intention". The harsh notes and speed/tempo of the singing with a very "narrow" inter figure interval show this as all response to the playback of one single phrase. Playback of this did not evoke a response. Field annotations included. It was unusual to get a male singing in this manner here where the population density was fairly low - the larger the number in an area the more singing calling was heard as the groups interacted at food sources.
