NOTES: In area of desert with thick bushes and pencil like cactus, desert in bloom due to heavy rains from El Nino storms. First part natural and rest in response to playback of first part. Two individuals seen. Move to top of small bushes 12 feet high, then flew to top of cactus. [This begins with "Chuck" Calls by a bird in the foreground (0:04-0:29) followed by similar calls by a bird in the background (0:30-0:335), then three Songs of two different song types (0:335-0:52), "Growl" Calls (0:56-1:05), three more "Chuck" Calls (1:11-1:15), and what may be a "Rack" Call (1:16). The latter part of the recording contains what I suspect are the "Buzz" Calls of BNA (2:10-2:53). Quality added (2) - CAM - 11 May 2005]
