NOTES: (Number of Animals and Sex: adult males and females; Breeding Status: breedingA) Also on LNS 73394 and 73396. [see LNS 73394]. HPF 220Hz. Ref my paper in Studies of Mascarene Island Birds. They were calling in flight and whilst perched on cliff face. The "sparrow-like" "chip-call" is clearly heard given by an individual "on the wing". An "interaction" as 2 pass over is heard - also a possible "alarm" at a large white dove[?] that flew into the cliff face. Most of these sequences were copied for BLOWS [London] 1981.

ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Phedina borbonica borbonica to Phedina borbonica to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
