NOTES: (Time: 1335- . Behav. Context: "Nectar defense" (+ songs & calls). ) 1335- Foraging in the Siderzylon leaves. Bill snaps of an individual (foraging silently) are heard and included with the field annotation. Also the interaction of three individuals flying tho just seen here in Mauritius but it was a very commonly noted behaviour (san) in Z. olivacea of Reunion. Song sequence included but has Bulbul (and flies) with it for the initial sections. (Roosting "buzz") heard--1810 but this time it was uttered after the aerial interaction.
Siderzylon "The coppery bush that Z. chloronothus spent much time "leaf gleaning" in, searching the ends of leaves for insects.
