NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut #73. Bulk reel #522
Weather: Cloudy, fair.
This is a bird by the main corral. (#1) This is on a par with the most heavily mottled birds I've ever sseen: very heavy on breast, chest, sides, and flanks. No visible white on crown.
a) Song ~ 15' after playback of Boqueron short phrase tape loop. (Bird had been singing complex phrases naturally.) Quality: 2. Level: +3. 203 tape. LN.
b) Song ~ 5' after playback of a). Quality: 1-2. Level: +3. LN.
#2 - Another bird seen ~ 1 km west of corral was equally heavily mottled on breast and chest but less heavily than #1 on sides of flanks.
