NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut #30. Bulk reel #517
203 tape. LN. [Recordist indicated that he used a parabola but did not specify make/model.]
Natural song, simple type. Quality: 1. Level: -3.
Then after playback. Bird continued at all times the same simple-type song, in spite of repeated playback. Quality: 1. Level: -3.
This bird collected = male #7826.
Note: The bird of Cut #30 is not as dark on breast as typical bouvronides and had a trace of white in crown.( I have since found there is much variation in thke amount of "dark" on bouvronides. Aug '73 PAS)
Also, another similar bird was collected in this area (= [blank] #[blank]) and its song may be heard in background of Cut # [blank] of Capsiempis.
However, in this same area I observed a very typical bouvronides and its song was of the complex type.
