a) 1730 hours. Elevation: ~150 m. Type 1 bird. Type 1 bird. This is recorded on the wooded slopes traversed by highway Route 8 and much traffic (and wind) noise. Quality: 3. Level: +3. 203 tape. LN.
b) 1815 to 1830 hours. Elevation: ~130 m. This is on the wooded slopes of a valley about 2 km to the west of a). All three phrase types heard (both low and high voices) but type 3 was the least heard in this area. The penultimate is one but it is masked by other sounds. This is a sample from the late PM song period; the birds fairly far away and also it was fairly windy, but birds could be heard singing on all sides. 203 tape. LN. Copy from original recording from N-IV to N 4.2. Filt. 600/2.5 kHz.
Note: Songs here same as at Caicara & Rio Querecal.
