NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut #FL-8. Bulk reel #498
Song type 1 = SO-SOO-la; 2 = SO-SO-LA; 3 = SO-LAA.
203 tape.
This is essentially a type 2 phrase. But note that it seems weak and also not strongly patterned. I'm pretty sure this is song by a female. Further, a bird approaching from this direction decoyed silently and quickly to my whistles.I used a strong type 2 phrase (but may have ussed other types, too, to vary.) It was collected = female #8851. Quality: 2-3. Level: +3.
Note: After this bird was shot, without retrieving it I continued whistling (I used now a type 1 phrase.) from same spot and soon another bird approached, also silently, from the direction of road and was also collected. This may be same bird as recorded in FL-4 = male #8852.
