THE SOUND OF MANY BIRDS AS THEY ARE HEARD IN THE EVENING. ALL TYPES OF SINGERS MAY BE NOTED. THE RED- FOOTED TINAMOU HAS 2 MAIN SONG TYPES. ONE SOUNDS LIKE SOI-SOLA (ACCENT ON THE LA); THE OTHER SOI-SOLA (ACCENT ON THE SO IN SOLA). THE SAME INDIVIDUAL SEEMS ALWAYS TO SING THE SAME SONG TYPE AND BOTH TYPES OF SINGERS ARE FOUND IN ALL AREAS. I HAVE BEEN SO FAR UNABLE TO LEARN THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THESE DIFFERENCES IF THERE IS ANY.
