NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut 1. Bulk Reel 487.

"a) Notes: Natural song. This bird was singing high in a tree and I wasn't able to see it. Playback brought no apparent reaction and bird became silent. However about 5' later while I was again recofding Topaza pella, a bird w/ similar voice starts to sing in the b.g. (See T. pella Cut 1c [LNS 68852].) Length: [not given]. Quality: 1. Level: +10.
b) Shortly after the bird moved into focus, obviously now down in the lower growth near me. This is part of that recording, the 1st part remaining in Cut 1c of T. pella. (The calls at very end are prob. of T. pella.) Length: [not given]. Quality: 1. Level: +5." PAS
