[Most of these calls represent the "Peek" Call Note of BNA, but there are also 11 Rattle Calls (e.g., 0:42, 0:55, 1:09...) and several additional calls that appear to represent short or abbreviated Rattles (0:34-0:39, 1:29, 2:14) These latter calls sound much like those I would expect of either a juvenile or an adult with young; some also sound much like the Double Calls of Picoides nuttallii (which are not described for P. scalaris).
