NOTES: Tape counter 278-357. This Golden-winged Warbler was singing a normal song at a location about 0.75km SE of the bird on 94-8-3. The habitat was "edge" rather than open scrub growth. For final part of the cut the bird was singing from a perch in 5m poplar followed by a perch in a 20m willow. MLNS notes: several songs badly distorted. [Thirty-four "Type I" songs, with 22 having five notes ("zeee bee bee bee bee") and the rest having the "typical," four notes ("zeee bee bee bee"). Songs with four notes are at 0:11, 0:39, 1:02, 1:38, 1:44, 2:39, 3:18, 3:50, 3:55, 5:15, 5:52, and 6:15. Quality added (2 - wind noise at first; signal much better after 2:20, but most songs are overloaded (some slightly others badly so)) - CAM - 25 January 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Thicket/Brush, Edge.
