Tape counter 257-261 - Killdeer and auto noise and wind and crows. Killdeer calling teep-teep (agitated). Tape counter 272-318 - Killdeeer making classic distraction display. Flying then running toward the recordist, then spreading wings, moving away, coming back, moving away. Near the edge of a pathway through the grassy area. Nest was 4 feet from edge of path with 4 eggs. Note clucking sound at 308-315 amplified further at 316-318. Other Behaviors: Scold, Perform Visual Display.
