Note: When I was in this area four weeks previously (21 & 25/1/73) there was practically no bird song. Today (& 21/2) this vireo was actively singing all over the place as were various other birds, esp. [see background sounds]. There had been no changes in the weather apparent to me; it was still dry and sunny. 139 tape.
