*This bird was not seen but the type of song seems to correspond. Quality: 2. Level: +10.
Note: I have never been able to collect this bird while singing as it's always too high. But 24/5/67 I did manage to follow well enough a bird that was almost surely singing this song to be reasonably sure that the bird I finally collected represented the bird with this "song." (#5871).
Note: 26/7/68. Gene Eisenman, who visited Rio Grande with me in April of this year, identified the bird immediately by its song which he had become familiar with in Panama. Therefore, I think there's no longer any doubt about the identification.
