Weather: Cloudy, fair. The first sound heard is from their whirring wings. After that their buzzy trills are heard. Playback of this was used to bring the bird in for collecting = [male #5166].
Note: 6/4/68. Rio Grande, km 12, nest under construction, ~ 20 m. high @ edge of forest. Constr. seemed to be done by only one bird but the other accomp. it at times. Seen by PAS & E.E.
