Also: yellow w. W. mdlk, clay-colored sp. , redwing, s-b-mwren; 15/11/2000 LAS- changed the species from A. caudacutus to A. leconteii. In the Gunn announcement, he calls the bird both A. caudacutus as well as LeConte's Sparrow. Upon listening to a recording of a known LeConte's Sparrow, it has been determined that the correct species is leconteii.

Q 2-3

[Indeed, this recording contains 29 songs of Ammodramus leconteii. There are also soft calls given throughout the latter part of this recording that likely represent this species (e.g., 3:10, 3:11, 3:16, 3:18, 3:19, 3:26, 3:28, 3:31, 3:33, 3:37, 3:41, and 3:44), though possibly not the singing bird. Quality added (2-1- at least for the few songs that are not overloaded)- CAM - 10 March 2005]
