x + some overloading; might filter; Q 2-3; 15/11/2000 LAS- changed species name from caudacutus to leconteii. In Gunn announcement, he calls the bird A. caudacutus but gives the commen name of LeConte's Sparrow. I compared the call to that of a known LeConte's Sparrow and determined that the correct species is leconteii. [The 23 songs in this recording are indeed those of Ammodramus leconteii. There are also two thin, "tsip" calls at 2:38 and many more alarm calls at 3:31-3:53. Quality added (1-2 - at best - many but not all of the songs are overloaded) - CAM - 10 March 2005]
