NOTES: Tyrannus melancholicus. Neotropical Institute Cut # 8. Bulk reel: 298; verbal notes
[Verbal notes only, taped on two diff. days, in this cut.mf]
"A field note relative to an obvious migration movement from W. to E. (at beginning I mistakenly say "E to W".) One of these birds wasa collected (female #5123). (See "Discurso" of 31/VIII/66) 10/VII/66. Another note made at Rio Grande, Km. 6, indicates a big concentration here. A note made in field 8/VI/66 at Mision Rio Tucuco, Zulia, says that the dawn songs here are all similar to those elsewhere in Venezuela. A note made 15/VII/66 at Sta. Maria indicates that on that day there was no migratory movement noted at that place." PAS
