Weather: Thin cloudy. Natural song. One "series" call after bird had moved out of focus. Previously it had given these a little more frequently. (Also, later, after I tried some playback--one or two phrases only--this bird gave almost immediately such a "series" call (and was then silent for a long while) suggesting some particular territorial or other significance to this call. Quality: 2+/-. Level: +3. 203 tape. LN.
Still natural call; after ~ 5' of singing on the new "perch" the bird returned to its perch and continued singing--the position of the reflector had not been changed from the beginning of the recording. (Only a portion of the total recording has been saved.) Quality: 1. Level: +3. LN.
Note: This species started to sing very actively after the beginning (first camp night 19/III) of the rains of the new "rainy season."
