NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 1. Bulk reel: 251Weather: Fair.Calls. In latter part they are more excited as I was handling a wounded Dryocopus lineatus and also a ditto aracari. Quality: 1-2. Level: +5 & 0. [Recordist did not indicate type of microphone used. He indicated that he used a parabola but did not specify make/model.]Note: A fairly large group of aracaris was preparing to settle in old hollow tree for the night. I shot into a fair concentration of these and felled three, all of them females. I made frequent other attempts to collect a male but always seemed to get females.(See also background of second section of Cut 6) of Ramphastos vitellinus.)
