NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 1. Bulk reel: 248Weather: Fair.a) This bird was singing a fairly well developed song but I failed to record it. All I got were these calls at end. Quality: 1-2. Level: +5.b) I recorded "focused" on this bird for a long time and it said practically nothing, frequently sallied out for insects. (Some of its calls are heard in background of Psarocolius decumanus, Cut 8.) Then when I was trying to record something also, it did start some vocal activity, apparently in response to calls of another bird. This incidentally recorded sound is included here and the reflector is then "focused" on the bird. Bird seen well. Quality: 2. Level: +5.Loud calls of Psarocolius decumanus heard one place.
