NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 14. Bulk reel: 220Some quiet calls by the male (apparently) -- purrs and cu-cuk. Then a "burry purr," apparently by female in nest. Then whistled calls, etc. of type given by female when she returns to nest after the morning recess, but these are given by a second female who is walking down the slope northwest of the nest. Some purrs heard also; I don't know which bird gave these. Then, just after next female emerged, are some more purrs; perhaps she gave them but am not sure. Then next female flew down to path and ran down slope, apparently giving "greeting" type calls. After this we heard more conversation vocalizations, presumably when male and female meet. I was unable to see what became of the second female.203 tape. Quality: 3. Level: +2. Rerecorded from SN to N-4.2. LN. No parabola.
