Then calls by male and something like rally calls after female had gone to meet male (see separate notes). Shortly, the nest pair (presumably) resumed with song from a short distance away. LN.b) 11:03, cloudy, bright. ~ 1/2 hour after female's return to nest the male left his waiting place and half walked, half jumped down bank, crossed trail and entered my blind, plucking things from ground.
