NOTES: Attila citriniventris. Neotropical Institute Cut # 2. Bulk reel: 149
203 tape. LN
a) 18/II/72. 8:10 AM. Weather: Cloudy fair. Natural vocalization: Alternate "song". 2-birds. This has some slight resemblance to the alternate song of A. spadiceus. Quality: 3+; Level: +3; Tape speed: 3.75". Then, normal song. There was a little playback of the 3.75" section before recording at 7.5ips. Quality: 2-"1" "flies"; Level: +3; Tape speed: 3.75 to 7.5".
Weather: Drizzle. Then, after more song of normal type; this is after definite playback of previous part. Quality: 1; Level: 0-3; Tape speed: 7.5 and 3.75.
b) 1:15PM. Weather: Fair. Natural song. Quality: 2+; Level: +5; Tape speed: 7.5. Then, I moved closer; also the bird stopped singing and I had to use playback; this recording is therefore of song after playback, (noticeable in bird's phrasing.) Quality: 1; Level: +3; Tape speed: 7.5.
