NOTES: Calling from vicinity of nest. Low level alarm? "Tee too lee". Background noise: wind.

[Based on spectrograms in Connors et a1. (1993. Auk 110:9-20) these calls are those of Pluvialis fulva NOT P. dominica. These calls represent primarily low-intensity "Alarm Calls" but with a few high-intensity calls mixed in (1:13, 1:21, 1:23 and 1:37). Quality changed from 2-3 to 2-3, 1-2 (the first part has much wind noise, but the second part may reach quality 1 in parts with no wind noise) - CAM - 1 December 2004]

LNS: Subject changed from Pluvialis dominica to P. fulva based on the recommendation of Curtis Marantz and Nathan Pieplow. --Jay McGowan 2Apr2013
