NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 1. Bulk reel: 135
Cloudy. I heard this bird singing in the distance and whistled an imitation. It came closer and I recorded these three songs but couldn't see the bird. Then I played these back and bird flew excitedly back and forth but never sang more than once from each perch. I did get one fairly good glimpses at it but then it lost interest and left. Quality: 1-2. Level: +5.
In the subsequent days I tried to find it and call it up in same place (motmot clearing) and other places but failed to find it again.
Identification: See Cut 2 [LNS 621840.
