[This is essentially the song of the species, including both types of Regularly Repeated Vocalizations (RRVs; see Smith, W. J. 1969. Displays of Sayornis phoebe (Aves, Tyrannidae). Behaviour 33:283-322). The 93 vocalizations here are given in roughly equal proportions. In the first part, the bird alternates between song types, but with three RRV1s given together at 0:27-0:37 and two together at 040-0:48, and then two RRV2s given together at 1:24-1:29. The second part begins with a decapitated RRV2, after which the bird alternates between RRV1 and RRV2, with the exception of two instances in which it gave two RRV2s together (3:05-3:09, 3:41-3:45). The song rate was much higher after 1:38 than it was before this. Note "cryptic" stop-starts at both 1:38 and 3:19. Quality changed from 2, 1 to 2, 1-2 (the second and third parts are much better than the first) - CAM - 14 April 2005]
