NOTES: HIGH PITCHED WHIRRING OF WINGS. FEEDER AT LAB BUILDING. ALSO RRN RCS61-24. RECORDED FROM 1400-1530 HOURS. [This recording combines the tinny chip calls, chase calls, and wing buzz of Selasphorus platycercus with "tchew" and chase calls of Archilochus alexandri. I believe the part between 0:38 amd 0:52 is exclusively Archilochus, but the last two parts (0:54-1:16) are exclusively Selasphorus. The remaining parts combine both species. Quality unchanged (2-1) - CAM - 10 May 2005]
