NOTES: (Species Sound: Frequent. Breed. Status: Breeding? General Climate: Arid. Cov. Density: Med.) Pair calling from top of rocks at top of ridge. Call at long intervals - do duetting. We walked in the waddi (which was dry - even with heavy rains last night). Got progressively closer. Birds did not move. Perhaps this is a young pair that has lost its first brood. Other individuals are on nests and no longer calling. #2 tape in the world! Ian Sinclair
