NOTES: (Species Sound: Frequent. Breed. Status: Breeding. Behav. Context: Mating invitation; nest invitation. General Climate: Arid. Gen. hab: Sandy wash. Cov. Density: Sparse.) Three males in flight display with feet hanging down as they circle. There is sparse grass - 1 ft. high from some rains. Grass here will get knee high. WE found 3 nests - holes dug in sand and lined with twigs in shade of asparagus fern-type leafy plant described on tape.
