LNS Notes: This bird is oritinally identified as Pipra serena. LNS FoxPro entry identiried the birds as Lepidothrix serena. But subsequent review of the distribution of this species, this bird is identified as Lepidothrix suavissima (reference: Birds of Northern Sounth America). This bird is closely related to Lepidothrix serena and the two species were formerly considered conspecific. 20FEB2009AR.
