14/VIII/74. 7:10 PM. Nearly dark; heard and saw this species; the few calls given were like those heard in the Rancho Grande region.
15/VIII/74.7:10 PM. Nearly dark; @ 1 km distant from previous observation; again saw and heard this species. At 7:08 PM again heard, so I whistled imitation of Rancho Grande vocalization types and a bird buzzed me repeatedly in reaction; some of this was recorded. At dawn of 16/VIII the bird (probably the same) again reacted to my whistled imitation.
