(A flight sound heard, probably of Penelope purpurascens; also hear faintly Caprimulgus rufus. Quality: 1-2. Level: +3. 3 3/4".
Note: On 12/V/70 this bird (presumably) again called from its [illegible word]? perch (apparently so, for on several recordings it began calling from the same perch) before taking off to call in flight.
b) 14/V/70. ~5:40 AM. Cloudy. Calls by same (presumably) bird on its perch; then as it takes off and flies about calling. Quality: 1-2. Level: +7. 7.5".
