NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 4. Bulk reel: 66
A bird, probably same as in Cut 3, was heard to give type A song in that area; I was near my camp on south side of lagoon and imitated it. It came close but never gave anything but these one- or two-note calls (which mayk actually be the most typical of this species). Bird was not seen. Note: This is the same type call as I attribute to the male in cuts 1b) and 1d). (Call type "C" song.) (Spectacled Owl faint in background; some water splashes.) Quality: 1. Level: 6. 311 tape.
