NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 17. Bulk reel: 66
a) 24/VI/68. ~ 5:25 AM. Clear, fair. Natural song, obtained incidentally while trying to record Penelope purpurascens. Apparently a female and male, the first song being of the female (about 1' earlier the male sang once). Quality: 2. Level: +10.
(At end added one song with echo for sonagram analysis.) Quality: 2-3. Level: 10.
b) 27/VI/68. 5:35 AM. Cloudy, fair. Some odd cooing-hooting that seems to be coming from this species. Quality: 3. Level: +12.
Note: Bird singing by Rio Burquita (ext. west Apure) had same song as at Rancho Grande.
