Time: 12:00 PM. Natural song (two phrases). Quality: 1. Level: +3. 203 tape.
Note - cf. stereo cut 7 for a song phrase by this species along the [illegible] Toma, Rancho Grande (~ 6:30 AM, 20/IV/74, clear). A pair of owls heard [illegible] on several mornings (but not every morning!) at dawn while I was on the [illegible] blind for the wood-quail study. However, more interesting is that I [illegible] being:
27/IV/74, 12:05 PM, cloudy bright (heard previous [illegible]
27/IV/74, 2:30 PM, fair-clear.
This is in a drier, more open, region of woodlands than the generally surrounding cloudforest.
