b) Ca-cao sounds after playback. Quality: 1. Level: 0. [Recordist did not indicate type of microphone used. He indicated that he used a parabola but did not specify make/model.]
I played back 4a) to get b irds to return so I could see them well for positive identification. They made sounds similar to 4a). However, after repeated playback (many times) the birds finally settled in a tree about 100 m. away and gave the cao-cao sounds of 4b).
