a) 5:15 AM. I did not see bird but comparison with Cut 1 would seem to leave little doubt as to identity. Quality: 2. Level: 6.
A second bird is then heard and at one time or another each sings the "dawn song" as well as the Cut 1 type song. From this there would seem little doubt that Cuts 3 & 8 presently filed under Herpetotheres cachinnans really belong to M. semitorquatus.
b) 5:50 AM. Probably the same birds but ~ 400 m. distant and might be others. Quality: 2-3. Level: 6.
