NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 3. LNS Bulk reel: 02
203 tape.
a)15 Feb 1972. 1830hr. Weather: Cloudy, had been raining. Normal (=ascending in 2nd figure) type phrase as in Cuts 1 and 2. Quality: 3. Level: +3.
b) 16 Feb 1972. 6:40 PM. Weather: Fair. This evening this bird (2 birds? seemed like only 1 and I think only 1) sang a phrase as in Part a) but ~alternated it with a phrase that descended in the second figure, rather than ascending. After I finally got focused on it (approx. only; exact focus not possible, therefore "echo") it sang only 2 phrases and both were of the descending type. Quality: 2-3. Level: +3.
Turdus albicollis is also heard prominently.
Orig. rec. @7.5 ips; copied N-IV to N-4.2; filt. 200/1900 Hz. Part b) repeated filt. 20/3000 Hz.
