NOTES: (Gen. Climate: Arid, cyclic wet-dry. Gen. Habitat: Bushed wooded grassland. Cover Density: Sparse, medium, thick.) There are two recordings here of the "piping call." This is a high intensity very aggressive male call. Singing and piping call heard up to 18.43(+). Male 218 roosted in a fork of a branch within the upper canopy (crown) of the (large and focal point) Croton tree in the site.
