NOTES: (General Climate: Wet)

If this is Formicarius analis, it is somewhat aberrant. The first note is usually more strident and slightly higher in pitch. The more plaintive, slower and lower pitched calls which seem to compete are those of Trogon rufus -Black-throated Trogon.
