NOTES: (Breeding status: Territorial; Sp. sound: freq; Song: ?dawn; Gen. Climate: arid; cover den: sparse) [Thirty-seven songs by the close bird (and a roughly comparable number by a second bird in the background), representing at least three different song types. Moreover, the complexity of these songs and the short intervals between them suggest that they represent an undescribed Type II (or "dawn") song of this species (see also LNS #20822, 56855, 56870). Calls are scattered throughout this recording, but most are "seeps" more like a "flight" call than a contact call; more typical, "bink" contact calls are at 1:335, 2:035, 2:255, 2:41, 2:46, and 2:51. There is a "cryptic" stop-start at 1:07. Quality added (1-2) - CAM - 15 June 2005]
