NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial, breeding. Sound Category: Alternate song and piping call. Behav. Context: Male nest parasite interacting with males/females in his song area.) The piping notes are immediately followed by alt. song and the gain level was altered as the piping not focused was low quiet and the alt song very loud. Field assistants talking as using tag [illegible]. Second male can be heard softly singing alt song. There were eight in all, two had radio tags, rest were painted. Also some songs from 218 as I run off the tape. The male was in the woodpecker nest tree (not LLS). L.L. Short note annotation in background.
